For movie lovers who don't want to head out to the theaters after the big feast, there are great movies being released on DVD Tuesday November 24th. From thriller to comedy, there is something for everyone in the family.
If you enjoy suspense and thrillers then Angels and Demons, starring Tom Hanks, is just for you. Based on the book by Dan Brown, this prequel to The Da Vinci Code is set in Vatican City. In this movie hero Robert Langdon, played by Hanks, follows a series of symbols and clues through the city to try to stop a terrorist. Rated PG, Angels and Demons is full of action, suspense, mystery and thrills that moves at a fast pace and keeps the audiences hooked to the end.
If comedy is what you are looking for then Four Christmases starring Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn is sure to please. When travel plans are canceled due to bad weather Kate (Witherspoon) and Brad (Vaughn) are forced to spend Christmas with their families. Complete with bully brothers, critical parents and cranky babies, Four Christmases will make you laugh and make you thankful for what you have (or identify with it).
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs 2 disc DVD set is also set to arrive in stores on November 24th. This set will include a digitally restored copy of the movie as well as interactive games and karaoke sing alongs with the Dwarfs. There is also a sneak peek at the upcoming Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog. A true classic, pick this movie up and enjoy this Disney masterpiece with your children this holiday weekend.
Another great DVD new release for the kids is Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws. In the newest installment of the Buddy series, Puppy Paws, the son of Santa Paws,finds one of the Buddy Dogs on the naughty list. Puppy Paws decides to have this Buddy help him learn how to be a regular dog. But, when the Christmas Icicle starts to melt, Puppy Paws and the Buddy dogs set out to save the day.
