Michael Douglas has been fighting a throat tumor. His friends are being extremely supportive of him, his medical condition and his career, according to Entertainment tonight.

Sylvester Stallone said, "Mike's a great guy. We've known each other our whole careers. My sympathies really go out and he's a battler. He's a tough guy. He's a winner. He'll overcome this for sure."

Michal Douglas has a highly anticipated new movie coming out called Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Twentieth Century Fox plans to release the movie as scheduled on September 24, 2010.

Michael has been undergoing chemotherapy and radiation for his throat cancer, but still, this Oscar winning actor will promote the movie as planned.

Michael Douglas can find inspiration from other famous cancer survivors such as Jack Klugman and Rod Stewart who both beat throat cancer. Christina Applegate who found and won against her battle with breast cancer is also a great inspiration.

Best wishes to Michael Douglas for a full recovery.
