Buy-it, rent-it, skip-it: movies on DVD/Blu-ray Tuesday, May 26th

Killshot is all you could ask for from a film.

Not sure which DVD to pull off the new release shelf? Need a new Blu-ray to show off in 1080p? Or maybe you're looking through the new releases on Netflix and don't know what to add to your queue?

This week you'll only find one new release worth renting, and it’s by no means an award-winning, critically-acclaimed film:

Killshot - Rent-it - Mickey Rourke, The Punisher, Rosario Dawson, Diane Lane, a scam artist and a hitman -- what more could you possibly want?

Devil's Tomb - Skip-it - Four recognizable faces including an Oscar-winning Cuba Gooding Jr. cannot save this "rollicking action-horror thriller."

M Butterfly - Skip-it - Surprisingly, director David Cronenberg and actor Jeremy Irons miss by a mile with this film about an obsessive opera fan. The fat lady sings!

Education of Charlie Banks - Skip-it - This directorial debut by Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst follows a young man's relationship with the neighborhood bully.

Powder Blue - Skip-it - A cast including a long-awaited nude Jessica Biel, academy-award winner Forest Whitaker, and man's man Ray Liotta seems like something worth seeing but I promise you it is not.

New in Town - Skip-it - This clichéd Renee Zellweger and Harry Connick Jr. film is one of the least believable romantic comedies in history.

Movies re-released on Blu-ray format this week:

Garden State - Rent-it - An oft-overlooked film that easily made my top 100!

True Romance - Rent-it - A romantic crime drama from 1993 was directed by Tony Scott, written by Quentin Tarantino and stars Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves - Rent-it - Kevin Costner is the best Robin Hood to date, but Russell Crowe's version next year will be competing for the #1 spot.

Field of Dreams - Rent-it - And enjoy a Kevin Costner Blu-ray marathon.

Cinderella Man - Rent-it - Or prepare for the better Robin Hood with this gritty and heartfelt acting performance by Crowe.

Wedding Daze - Skip-it - Expect to see more from Jason Biggs and Isla Fisher in the straight-to-DVD release section.

Before you tell people to skip M Butterfly you should try watching it! Anyone that has seen it that enjoys cinema 'outside the box' will disagree with you. American movies are so bloody boring anymore, they are the ones that people should be skipping!

Erin's right, M Butterfly is a wonderful movie. People who say "skip it" simply don't understand it.*eyeroll*
