Buy-it, rent-it, skip-it: movies on DVD/Blu-ray Tuesday, June 9th

Gran Torino is must-see vintage Eastwood.

Not sure which DVD to pull off the new release shelf? Need a new Blu-ray to show off in 1080p? Or maybe you're looking through the new releases on Netflix and don't know what to add to your queue?

This week you'll find a rare best-of “mix-tape” TV series well worth buying and re-watching  and a new Eastwood film that might be his last great appearance on the silver screen (though you can count on him continuing his masterful work behind the camera):

Best of Whose Line Is It Anyway (Uncensored) - Buy-it - To this day the loudest and longest I've LOL during any movie or TV show.

Gran Torino - Rent-it - Vintage Eastwood playing a tough-as-nails live-action version of Up's Carl.

International - Rent-it - An exciting action drama that makes absolutely no sense.

Strike - Skip-it - Unless fart jokes and Tara Reid are your thing.

Ghosts of Goldfield - Skip-it - Even zombie fans and horror movie buffs will be bored with this film.

Fired Up - Skip-it - Please don't be tempted by an unrated version of this cheerleading flick!

Movies re-released on Blu-ray format this week:

Taking of Pelham One Two Three - Rent-it - Walter Matthau stars in the original (and much better version) of this thrilling ransom film.

Fatal Attraction - Rent-it - If you thought this film was scary hot on VHS it’s three times that in 1080p.

The Siege - Rent-it - Just look at the cast and try and tell me you aren't curious: Annette Bening, Tony Shalhoub, Denzel Washington, and Bruce Willis.

Predator 2 - Skip-it - While Predator 1 on Blu-ray is something you must see, the sequel is worth skipping even if it was the only thing showing on an 8-hour plane ride.

Indecent Proposal - Skip-it - It's no Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction or Unfaithful, and it is nothing special on Blu-ray.
