Buy-it, rent-it, skip-it: movies on DVD/Blu-ray Tuesday, July 28th

Spinal Tap defines "mockumentary."

Not sure which DVD to pull off the new release shelf? Need a new Blu-ray to show off in 1080p? Or maybe you're looking through the new releases on Netflix and don't know what to add to your queue?

This week you might as well get caught up on some classics you've always wanted to see - because there is nothing new worth ten minutes and 2 cents - not to mention 2 hours and 5 bucks:

Fast & Furious - Skip-it - Genuinely interested, certainly awful, and for many fans a must-see-it, must-buy-it film, but you should skip-it.

Dragonball: Evolution - Skip-it - Even die-hard fans of the cartoon/anime series will hate this film (maybe even more than newbies).

Miss March - Skip-it - Miss March will be on one more list this year - Ten Worst Films of 2009.

Movies re-released on Blu-ray format this week:

This Is Spinal Tap - Buy-it - The movie that created the word "mockumentary" is even more brilliant in 7.1 HD surround sound.

12 Monkeys - Rent-it - If Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis in their prime don't draw you in, the mind-blowing plot twists will.

A River Runs Through It - Rent-it - Brad Pitt's breakthrough performance isn't any better in HD.

The Fast and the Furious - Rent-it - A much better version of the newest, fourth, and hopefully last version of story about a thrill-seeking, gear-head posse.

2 Fast 2 Furious - Skip-it - A much worse sequel.

The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift - Skip-it - The worst of the four.
