The latest rumors are in on the upcoming Batman film, which will be the third installment in director Christopher Nolan's reimagining of the caped crusader. The major casting rumor is Megan Fox may be portraying Catwoman in the yet untitled film. The latest casting rumor follows other major speculation, most notably Eddie Murphy as the Riddler and Shia LeBeouf as Robin. While nothing is for certain, major speculation has surmounted to near certainty despite the fact that Nolan is not talking.
Fox is best known for her role in the two Transformers films, and the role of Catwoman would undoubtedly be a major step forward for the actress, as the film will surely make insurmountable amounts of revenue. If speculation comes to fruition then the third Batman film could end up being a Transformers reunion with the joint casting of LeBeouf and Fox. Still nothing is certain, save the fact that Nolan is preparing to begin production on the third Batman film in 2010.
Christian Bale and Gary Oldman will reprise their respective roles, as Oldman was very open about the preparations for the film while attending this year's comic-con. Oldman was at the event to discuss his upcoming film, The Book of Eli, which stars Denzel Washington. Though The Book of Eli was supposed to be the topic of discussion, eager fans could not deter their thoughts from the follow-up to The Dark Knight, which was the second highest grossing film of all time.
Fox is a simple casting rumor, she follows a similar rumor that placed Rachel Weisz in the cat suit. Fox could easily slip into the suit herself, as she has one of the most talked about physiques in Hollywood, but her acting chops are debatable. Nolan's Batman films are incredible for their effects as well as the substantial talent that inhabits each respective role. While Fox is a speculation with heavy consideration, only time will tell if Fox has the ability to undertake the major task of becoming one of Nolan's infamous Batman characters.

Actually, Nolan has been quite silent about the third film. He has neither confirmed nor denied anything about the script. The article never says Nolan spoke of any of the rumors, so the rumors are just as the article says, rumors.
if there is a robin or a catwoman or a batgirl in the 3rd film than it will be just downright horrible. Megan Fox cant act worth a damn anyways

In my opinion Eddie Murphy would be average Riddler, Edward Norton would be good but Johnny Depp would be The Best. In my opinion if Johnny Depp would play The Riddler it would be 2nd Best role ever played. As Robin Shia Leboef would be great and Catwoman Megan Fox or Angelina Jolie. But dont forget about The Joker which is The Best role ever played and Heath Ledger was my favourite and best actor. No one cant replace him because it wouldnt be fair. But in Batman 4 I would like to see Mr Freeze and I would like to play him Ice Cube rapper because he is my favourite black man.
I think there should be The Riddler and there will be The Riddler.And I am sure 100% that Johnny Depp will be The Riddler because he has The most interesting roles and he desreve to be The Riddler.Johnny Depp is Mad Hatter,Willy Wonka,Jack Sparrow and I think he is The most interesting person thats why he should be The Riddler.In my opinion Chris Nolan is The most inteligent director and Im 100% sure Johnny Depp will play The Riddler.

This is just as stupid as the possible Jamie Fox as TwoFace. Chris Nolan should just bring back Aaron Eckhart and TwoFace.
I think The Joker will return in future parts of Batman but now there will be Riddler or Two-Face back alive because it would be very interesting if he would be in Batman 3.I changed my mind it would be fair if The Joker would be replaced but in few conditions it would be someone who liked Heath or someone who Heath liked or someone who have done something good for him.And I think its Daniel Day Lewis he dedicated oscar to Heath Ledger and since that moment he is my favourite actor alive.And The Joker will be older and after long visit in jail Joker will do vengeance.
