"Mad Max" director George Miller attempted to put to rest some of the rumors behind the casting of "Mad Max 4" during an interview with Australia's ABC News.
In a late-October 2009 interview, Miller revealed one of the high-performance vehicles that will be used in the film. Miller said it "will take a year to build the vehicles" and the movie will have huge number of stunts, including stunts never-seen before.
As for casting, Miller said that he's been "casting furiously" for the past few weeks. He wouldn't confirm who would be in the cast and said "everyone's an option" and the best ones-"don't work in this country" (Australia). Miller explained that many of Australia's talented actors and directors have gone to work overseas because of the lack of jobs and production.
Just last week, E! Online reported that the latest "Mad Max" could include Charlize Theron as the leading lady and Tom Hardy as Mad Max. In addition, "Mad Max 4", with the working title "Mad Max 4: Fury Road," was rumored to be an anime film.
