The next installment of the mega-successful Twilight franchise, Eclipse, which will no doubt sweep next year's MTV Movie Awards, isn't due in theaters until June 30th, but publicity shots from the eagerly-anticipated third chapter of Stephenie Meyer's cash-cow book franchise are already surfacing online.
Fandango.com, the ubiquitous movie-ticket hub that has paper-bag characters as their spokesmodels, has published three new photos that will no doubt stoke the already-white-hot flames of interest for the upcoming summer blockbuster-to-be .
Bella, Jacob, and yes, Edward, who was semi-MIA in the last movie, New Moon, can be seen in these new stills, as can other returning characters, Alice, Rosalie, and Dr. Cullen.
Twilight: New Moon is set to to reap the lion's (make that werewolf's) share of nominations for this summer's MTV Movie Awards.
Twilight: Eclipse will be directed by David Slade, who previously directed another werewolf-centric movie, 2007's 30 Days of Night, as well as the movie that launched Juno star Ellen Page's career, Hard Candy.
