Dare to walk the streets of Mount Dora? Photo: Canon in 2D
Beware if you plan to attend the 25th Annual Mount Dora Craft Fair this weekend because on Sunday afternoon, our beautiful downtown streets will be crawling with the not-so-dead and scaring up ghoulish frights just in time for Halloween. If you dare to walk among the "undead," then make sure you are in Mount Dora from 3 – 5 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Sponsored by the Mount Dora Ghost Walk and the Mount Dora Village Merchant's and Business Association, the Zombie crawl promises a scary good time thanks to local volunteers and the cast members from The Mount Dora Ghost Walk. The streets will come alive or dead I should say, with more than 30 horrifying denizens of the afterworld who will make their way in and around the arts and crafts booths and down the local alleyways. You never know who will be lurking around the next corner but be prepared should you come face-to-face with these creatures of the night!
Creating the Zombie Crawl will be no easy task and that's why we're relying on our local expert, Mike B Makeup - renowned for his macabre artistry at Universal's Halloween Horror Nights - to apply his makeup wizardry to create the ghoulish creatures that are sure to frighten a festival-goer or two.
