Now that the optimal planting season is here, the annual Mount Dora Plant and Garden Fair is coming to town this weekend on November 7 and 8. From garden enthusiasts to horticultural professionals, all who visit the fair, will be dazzled by more than 12,000 plants on display brought you to by the top growers and nurseries in Central Florida. Whether you’re looking to fine tune your gardens or create a brand new verdant and lush landscape, you won’t want to miss this fair.
As you stroll among the annuals, biennials, and perennials on display, you’ll find orchids, butterfly-attracting plants, herbs, roses, begonia as well as a collection of rare and very unusual tropical plants. Curiosity piqued? Mine sure is! Also you’ll find garden antiques, planters, festive flags, mosaics, garden furniture and more! You are sure to find everything you need to round out your garden at home.
In case you’ve never been to Simpson Cove overlooking the picturesque Lake Dora, find your way to Tremain Street and head south to Charles and Liberty Streets located near the Mount Dora Boating Center and Marina. Just follow the crowds and have fun!
