Paranormal activity inside the Royellou Museum?
Last Sunday night, Ghost Trackers TV investigated suspected paranormal activity inside the Old Jail in the Royello Museum in downtown Mount Dora. Located on Royellou Lane, the museum is home to the town's original jail and firehouse house and there were some spooky things going on late Sunday and early Monday morning. It's ironic that this museum, operated by the Mount Dora Historical Society, hosts its own lantern-lit ghost tours in search of paranormal encounters outside the walls of the museum. As it turns out, they didn't have to look beyond their own four walls to experience the hair-raising encounters as described by the curator and the crew.
According to a report on DailyCommercial.com, the museum curator, Alexandra Jannelle stated that she frequently hears screeching noises in the rafters and that the ambient temperature drops quite often indicating heightened paranormal activity. Because of these creepy encounters, the crew from Ghost Trackers TV in Orlando brought in their Ghost Busters equipment including video cameras, Geiger counters, K-2 and K-3 meters, temperatures gauges, and more to measure the unexplained activity.
As it turns out, the Ghost Trackers did encounter evidence of lots of paranormal activity especially inside the walls of the old jail cell. One reported having a K-2 meter inexplicably fly out of his hands. Another reported seeing shadows that did not move as theirs moved. One even reported having the collar of his shirt tugged on. That would be enough to send this reporter running.
The entire experience will be broadcast in about three weeks on WRDQ in Orlando which should be around October 17. The program usually airs at 2:00 a.m. so be sure to set those DVRs. Can't wait that long? Check out the report on TheWhiteNoiseForum.com for the details of each eerie moment as they unfolded. It is sure to send shivers down your spine!
