Beer drinkers and hell raisers, this one's for you. ZZ Top has signed to headline at the Buffalo Chip Campground at the Sturgis Bike Week Rally next year.
That's right, the Masters of Sparks will be bringing their hot, blue, and righteous show to the greatest motorcycle rally in the world on Aug. 9, 2010. The announcement was made Monday by the obviously pleased Buffalo Chip management.
As any Sturgis veteran can tell you, the real action at the rally is in the campgrounds. Big-name acts, albeit many who are past their prime, are the order of the day. Campground options run from tent camping to trailer camping to renting a cabin, all for an escalating price. Early bird registration for tent camping at the Buffalo Chip will currently run you $165 per person. That covers the camping and admission to all shows, from Aug. 9 to Aug. 15.
