Fire engine trike at Sturgis
As many riders get older and no longer feel capable of handling a big two-wheeler, trikes become more and more prevalent. Plus, some young people are also more comfortable on three wheels, and then there are those who just simply prefer them.
From the typical two-wheels-in-back-one-in-front type to the two wheels in front type, like the Can-Am Spyder, all are found in abundance at the Sturgis bike rally this week. Some are the straight trikes, but, as usual, some have been heavily modified and customized.
The following slideshow presents a selection of the trikes that made it to the rally.
