The Laughlin River Run is over for another year and noise levels are back down to a sane level. Sunday morning, however, the roar was probably the greatest of the entire rally as the tens of thousands of bikes that gradually filtered in prepared to leave en masse.
Lines were long at gas stations as fully loaded bikes pulled up to top off before heading home. Vendors had their wares marked down, hoping to sell rather than take it away. And groups pulled the bikes together one last time for a final, heading home photo.
Harmony was the word all week as this polyglot of people who share one passion mixed and mingled. By Sunday the police were reporting only four DUI arrests, which can probably be attributed to the fact that the rally is very centralized and people could get smashed and then walk to their rooms, rather than ride.
Official estimates on attendance were not available yet but considering how jammed the bike parking lots were by Saturday it must have been a pretty good year.
The following slideshow focuses more on the people of the rally than the bikes, though of course there are some of those in the mix as well.

True to form, your pix are great. Will look for more.
No doubt, a rally will attract all types.
We all had a wonderful time this last week. Back to Oregon City we drove. See ya next year, can't wait!
This was our 2nd year at the Laughlin River Run. Last year we trailered our Harley down. This year we rode down from Olalla Washington with 7 other folks. It was a fantastic scenic, eventful ride through the back roads of Oregon and Nevada. When we came down through the hills coming into Laughlin and BHC it was a big PINK PADS UP!!! The music, food, vendors, sun, people, and ofcourse all the motorcycles make this rally the best we have ever been to. A big Thank You to all the folks in Laughlin, at the AVI, Oatman, and BHC for putting this rally together. Count us in for next year. By the way we love channel 2.
