A school of Eco Mobiles swim down the road
Most of us may never ride one of these things but as concepts go, this is very cool. Those odd looking things in the photo are Eco Mobiles, created by Swiss designer Arnold Wagner.
Wagner describes the issues he felt needed addressing in motorcycles was too short a wheel base and too high a center of gravity. Of course, the enclosed cabin keeps you dry. Outriggers keep you from falling over when you stop.
This BBC film clip features reporter Jeremy Clarkson speaking with Wagner and test driving an Eco Mobile. It's well worth viewing. Of course, as far as owning one goes, Clarkson sums it up pretty well saying, "At 50,000 pounds it's quite an extravagant toy."
