Gift-giving is always fraught with stress. Sometimes people decide to get a little creative and venture beyond the Mother's Day bouquet of flowers, piece of jewelry or box of chocolates. Don't venture so far as to buy automatic weaponry.
The following are actual products for sale to the public:
Rejuvenique Electric Face Mask: The customer review on this one pretty much says it all. "I received a burn on my face from this product," she writes after giving it one star. "I still have a scar from it two years later." But after this doesn't work to "tone skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles" (and it won't), you'll be all set with this year's Halloween costume, Robot Michael Meyers.
Sumseeds: For the healthy mom ... who can't reach her Red Bull. Sunflower seeds are a fabulously nutritious snack, but according to Sumseeds, Mother Nature didn't make them caffeinated enough. Yep, caffeine. In sunflower seeds. Available in Honey BBQ, Salt and Pepper, and Dill flavor. Because caffeinated sunflower seeds weren't gross enough.
Hello Kitty AK-47: For the mom who likes to be locked and loaded. This pink gun costs over $1,000 but the site points out it does have "hand-crocheted shoulder-stock muffler and the anodized titanium plating."
Bed Books: For the book lover mom ... with a bad neck. They're books ... but they're printed sideways. The Bed Books site assures customers that there will be "no more propping pillows, gadgets or sore necks!" Really? This has been a big problem? And they believe the most efficient way to solve this is to print the book sideways?
Growing Necklace: Does your Mom have a green thumb? Well, even she doesn't want to carry a plant around her neck on a $189 chain.
Happy Mother's Day to moms everywhere!

To think that we live in a world where AK-47's are pink with cartoon characters on them? What I really want to know is if the same company sells a "My Melody" M-16?
Truly bizarre!
I have got to have one of those pink AK 47s. LOL
