You better watch out ... A new, spectacular holiday light display is coming to town! St. Nick’s Lights at Scottsdale Pavilions will light up your night with millions of lights and the largest light display ever seen in the Southwest. Some features, like “Tommy the T-Rex,” are not only 3-D animated, but tower more than 30 feet.
For those looking for a festive way to walk off their turkey feasts, the grand opening of St. Nick’s Lights is November 26, Thanksgiving night. This enchanted holiday park will run every night from 5:30 to 10 p.m. through Jan. 10, 2010. At Loop 101 and Indian Bend Road, Scottsdale Pavilions provides a destination setting for family fun with restaurants and accessible parking.
What’s more, when you purchase a ticket to St. Nick’s Lights ($8 online and $10 at the gate), you’re automatically making a donation to Phoenix Children’s Hospital. A percentage of the park’s proceeds will benefit the Valley’s leading provider of world-class healthcare to children.
Here are just a few highlights from St. Nick’s Lights:
• Dancing Trees show with synchronized lights and holiday music—more than 50 feet tall
• St. Nick’s workshop (Santa will be there every night through New Year’s Eve, so don’t forget your camera or purchase photos at the park)
• Lighted enchanted gardens with dragons, polar bears, a magical castle and cottages
• The North Pole Express train ride through the park
• And much more!
Brought to you by St. Nick’s Decorators, a Phoenix-based lighting and décor company, St. Nick’s Lights was developed to create a once and a lifetime experience for patrons. For more information and to purchase advance tickets, visit www.stnickslights.com.
