According to the 2008 U.S., there are approximately 11 million single parents. The Super Bowl ads which is one of the many highlights of the Super Bowl featured an ad for Doritos of a single mom going on a date.
The setup was classic. The guy came to the door with a bunch of flowers for the first date. The date who was a single mom greeted him at the door. She let him in while going to put away the flowers. Suddenly, her son spys the gentlemen caller staring longing after his mom. The son drops the playstation control and gets into the guys face and slaps him while saying, "don't touch my Doritos and don't touch my mom.
This Super Bowl ad raises the question, "when is it the appropriate time to introduce your date to your child?" A tough question I don't have an answer too, but I feel the ad could have been done more responsibily.

I don't know what the best time to introduce your kid to your date is, but I didn't think the commercial was so irresponsible. If it was some kind of Family Life ad, maybe, but it was a commercial for Doritos, so I think it did a pretty good job advertising its product while being cute and funny. After all, we're still talking about it, aren't we?
This true.
