Virginity for sale? Natalie Dylan offered $3.7 million for her virginity (video clip included)

Natalie Dylan, a 22-year old woman from San Diego, has brazenly offered her virginity for auction and is currently courting offers as high as $3.7 million, according to Fox News. Dylan, who has a degree in Women’s Studies ironically, came to the idea for an auction when her sister, Avia, 23, paid for her own degree by prostituting herself for three weeks. She is hoping to use the funds to pursue a Master’s degree in Family and Marriage therapy.

When the auction was first made public in September of last year, Dylan’s was receiving offers around the $250,000 mark. It became a national news story when shock jock Howard Stern mentioned it on his Sirius radio show, and as attention to her auction increased, the bids skyrocketed.
In an interview with the London Telegraph, Dylan claims to have gotten thousands of requests, including a lot of attention from “weirdos” and “lots of polite requests from rich businessmen.” She also states,
“I get some men who are obviously looking for a girlfriend but I try and make it clear that this is a one-night-only offer.”

“I know that a lot of people will condemn me for this because it’s so taboo but I really don’t have a problem with that.”

“My study is completely authentic in that I truly am auctioning my virginity but I am not being sold into this. I’m not being taken advantage of in any way.”

“I think me and the person I do it with will both profit greatly from the deal.”

Following is CBS13 Sacramento news coverage of the auction when it was first made public last fall:

There are so many things wrong with this story, I don’t even know where to start. How ironic is it that her goal is to be a family and marriage therapist? How could you trust a marriage therapist who so clearly devalues her own body and its relationship to that of another person? In interviews, she seems so blasé about what it is that she is doing and the fact that this “study” is meant to help finance her goals in life.

Although it’s clear that she will tremendously benefit financially, what is the real price she is paying to obtain it? With all the publicity around this auction and the lengths she has gone to promote it (see provocative pictures of her HERE), she is clearly going to go through with it, especially because she has stated up front that her intentions are to get paid. But after all is said and done, whether in a couple months, maybe in a couple years, I think she’ll realize that no amount of money will ever be able to help buy back her self-respect.

How is she any different from her sister who was basically a prostitute? What a story. I agree, that poor girl is going to regret this much later in life.

what kind of freak is going to pay that much money?? it's scary that someone would waste that much money. it's enough to fund many kids' educations, save kids lives through food and water, that's just pathetic.

She is so disgusting. What kind of message is she sending out to young girls who hear about this story?

Oh please. We ALL come to regret our first time, so why not make a couple million in the process? She could just as easily lose it after a drunken night at the clubs, and yet you would call that "normal" and it would be more acceptable for society. I think the real issue here is that she's secure enough to do this, and it challenges your own self-values.

prostitution originated as a religious ritual so this isn't so wrong on the spiritual stand point, as for what that money could be spent on she says its for her education and i wouldn't be surprised if she donated some of the money to charity

I have to agree with Jennifer! This college student is sending the message it is ok to sell your body for things others will pay for, for years to come. Get a loan!! Hint, use protection!

Where is the proof she is a virgin? Will she provide medical documents confirming this? Will she allow an independent examination before she delivers the goods?

I pray that I will be a good enough father to never have a daughter that would do something like this. I would rather sell my kidneys to put my child through college than watch them prostitute themselves.
