Julie has spent most of her life living in and around South Eastern MA, where she now raises her 4 unique children, aged 3-19, as well as a plethora of animals. A pro-active parent teaching her children respect and love for all people, and the earth on which they live, she believes in gentle and natural parenting while respecting both her children's voices, and her own parenting instincts. A previous freelance writer for a local town paper, and years spent as both a nurse and an Innkeeper, has kept her mind and her heart open to all that Boston and MA has to offer to mothers of all ages and the families that they care for. Her enthusiasm for motherhood and life are evident in her writings including, places to go, events to attend, toys to avoid, how to talk to teens, toddler boo-boos, books to read, and where Mom's can go for a relaxing night out.
