Tiger Woods, naked Playgirl photos, lawsuits from scorned lovers, and mistresses as madams?

The good news for Tiger Woods is that no new women have come forward in the last 24 hours claiming to have known the embattled golfer's personal driver. Nine waitress/party girls, two possible mistresses that side-kicked as madams, and two porn stars is enough for any Tiger to tame. But his troubles continue with rumors that Playgirl is reviewing naked photos, and CNN has also reported that there could be concerns of lawsuits from potential scorned spouses of any alleged lover.

As more information comes out - including that he may have gone condomless  - Modern Love thinks this may explain his reticence to discuss or deny any of the allegations. SNL made a joke when they said, “Tiger hit a tree, and a gaggle of women fell out.” What other bitter fruits can we expect next?

Rachel a madam?
According to reports out of Canada, the first alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel, may have been tasked with finding women for him, less a lover and more of a madam of sorts. (Although recently releases texts suggest a more intimate role than just that). Similar suggestions have been made about another of his possible paramours. If she was kept on ‘retainer,' and helped arrange ‘dates’, does that make her a madam? As TMZ reported, she may be priviledged to too many secrets better left that way.

Playgirl photos of Tigers wood?

FOXnews.com has reported that Playgirl is reviewing nude photos of Tiger Woods. Playgirl rep Daniel Nardicio told FoxNews.com that, "We were approached by a third party who wanted to know our 'interest level…our lawyers are currently going over them, the source, the entire package." The source is suspected to be Holly Sampson, who has gone on record as having slept with him (Another TMZ video courtesy of the US headlines Examiner). How will this impact his relationships with his corporate sponsers?

Already, Gatorade has announced plans to sever ties. But financial concerns from loss of endorsements are only one worrisome prospect.

Unexpected lawsuits?

A CNN report discusses the legal ramifications of ‘alienation of affection’ lawsuits from scorned spouses. If an "outsider" interferes in a marriage, the scorned spouse can sue them in seven states: Hawaii, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Dakota and Utah. If it turns out that Tiger slept with more women, and any of them were married at the time and the transgression took place in one of these states, he could be sued.

Putting this together, it may cost Tiger more than he ever bargained for. It is impossible to predict what will happen next.  Fellow examiners, Jordan and Samantha, speculate that a Swedish getaway may salvage his marriage with Elin, and Kim Hess, our divorce columnist agrees that divorce is not in their immediate future.

As the list of ‘transgressions’ and worries grow, Modern Love can’t help but ask the question on everyone's minds: how it got so out of control?

The guiding rudder for this column is always conscious love, and me thinks that if just a little more of both - consciousness and love - had been driving this Tiger, circumstances could be very different indeed. Alas, hindsight is 20-20.
