The World Mixed Martial Arts Awards is set to air tonight, live, at 7:30 pm (PST) on Versus.com. It is the second anual awards show, hopefully with many more to come.
The World MMA Awards were started last year, and have proven to be a fan favorite. The awards are voted on by you, the fans, and the winners are going to be announced tonight.
Fighters Only Magazine is responsible for bringing the awards to the fans, as well as being one of the top MMA publications of all times. A big thank you to the guys at Fighters Only for all they have done for the sport!
Below is the list of the 2009 World MMA Award winners. The categories voted on by the fans are as follows:

- Leading Man of the Year- Dana White
- European Fighter of the Year- Gegard Mousasi
- Breakthrough Fighter of the Year- Brock Lesnar
- Female Fighter of the Year- Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos
- Coach of the Year- Greg Jackson (Jackson's Submission Fighting)
- Ring Girl of the Year- Arriany Celeste
- Gym of the Year- Jackson's Submission Fighting
