WEC 44: Brown vs. Aldo aired live on Versus TV which, unfortunately, is no longer available to millions of DirecTV customers due to a distribution dispute. Many WEC and MMA fans were left in the dark, having to check internet news sites, blogs, and message boards for the results and play-by-plays of the fight card.
The main event of WEC 44 pitted the WEC featherweight champion, Mike Brown against Jose Aldo Jr. The fight was a classic speed versus power match up that lived up to all of the pre-fight hype.
For those that missed WEC 44, whether it was due to work, schedule conflict, or getting the short-end of the stick from DirecTV, no worries. I give you the WEC 44 main event, Mike Brown vs. Jose Aldo Jr. full main event video. Enjoy!

Thanx thanx thanx for posting the video
Aldo is now 145 King and will be hard to beat. Thanks for the plug.

Damn! I gotta stop picking fights. I picked Faber over Brown (part 1), Faber over Brown (part 2), Torres over Bowles, Cerrone over Henderson, Carrano over Cyborg (wishful thinking) and Brown over Aldo. I am really bad at picking them I guess.
god job man. thanks for posting it. TV sucks
Thanx man, much appreciation.
that was impressive aldo looked out of his league damn and brown is the real deal.
You guys are welcome, I am glad I could help out, even if just a little. Thanks for reading.
Total domination. Jose Aldo is a far superior fighter and has a lot of fight left in him. Thanks for posting this!
Marco-I agree, total domination in this fight. I think we will be seeing Aldo hold on to his belt for some time. He showed how adaptable he can be with his patience in this fight, something we havent seen from him prior. The FW(145lb) fighters should take notice for sure.
Thanks for the vid. I have been searching all day for info on Brown because I think he was hurt by one of Aldo's body kicks. He was clearly defensive in the second round.
Paul A.- I thought the very same thing, but no news as of yet on any injuries. That body shot definitely hurt him and I wouldnt be surprised if a rib or two were damaged. Thanks for watching and for the comments everyone.
There is no 145lb who will beat Aldo. Boxes well, defends well, kicks well. He will either be to skilled for most or too strong. Brown couldnt move him and he is one of the strongest at weight. Faber beware, Aldo will knock you out. If you wanna be a champ, stay out of Aldo's weight.
Recorded this last night, went to watch it today after work and right at the start of the fight it stopped recording!!! Almost thrown a work boot into the screen. Thank God my wife turned me on to this.Thank you, this is great!!!
WOW!! Aldo is a beast and for real! Thanks for Vid...
Dunlap- I am glad I saved your television, tell your wife thank you for me as well. I have to add to the story of this fight, something I almost forgot. Being owned by Zuffa, the WEC 44 card was overlooked by most, due to DirecTV not carrying Versus as well as coming on at the same time as the replay of UFC 105 and the new TUF 10 episode! I am so glad I skipped both of those to watch WEC 44! The little guys get at it, and get at it good! I cann't get enough of the smaller weight classes, those guys are as exciting as it gets from opening bell til the end.
Man that was crazy. Didn't think Brown would loose but he did. I am glad I found somewhere to watch the video. Thanks a bunch.
Bart- you are welcome, glad you liked it. Aldo is a beast and man-handled Brown. I don't know if anyone, besides Aldo, thought he could win that easily.
awesome fight. I really want to see Faber Vs Aldo but we have to see how Faber does on his next fight in January. I thought Brown was going to come and crack aldos head with one of his power punches but Aldo was too quick for brown and brown was not able to land a good solid punch on Aldo's Head. man what a fight!
