Fearless Predictions for Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers.  The balance of the main card will be televised live by CBS.

Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers
The overwhelming favorite to capture this fight is Fedor, and all analysis shows no real reason outside of a mistake by the Russian that would allow Rogers an opening to unleash his huge knockout power.  The lone difference for Fedor in this fight is that it will be contested in a cage, and not the ring that he is used to and prefers.  When you search and search for reasons to pick an upset, then you should be picking the favorite.  Fedor by TKO, strikes, Rd. 3

Middleweight Championship, Jake Shields vs. Jason Miller
The last couple of times Jake Shields has entered a fight, he has been doubted because of his size. Shields moved up from welterweight, but had no problem handling the difference against robbie Lawler. Jason “Mayhem” Miller is an experienced and well-rounded opponent who figures to have a fight-day size advantage, but nothing Shields cannot overcome. Shields by submission, guillotine, Rd. 5

Gegard Mousasi vs. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou
Mousasi quickly demolished Renato "Babalu" Sobral in his previous Strikeforce fight.  While Sokoudjou looks the part and has talent, he is not in Mousasi's league.  Mousasi has too many ways to win this fight, standing or on the ground.  He'll take it down and finish it.  Mousasi by submission, kneebar, Rd. 2

Antonio Silva vs. Fabricio Werdum
Werdum was up and down in the UFC, sometimes looking like the champion and other times like an also-ran.  Silva has big power and a great ground game.  Werdum's experience against top-level fighters give him a perceived edge, but Silva's intimidation game will be the difference.  Silva by TKO, strikes, Rd. 2.

Roxanne Modafferi vs. Marloes Coenen
Going by weight alone, this appears to be a mismatch in favor of the bigger Coenen, who cut down to 145.  Modafferi is a terror at 135 pounds and, taking this fight on short notice, managed to come in at a respectable 140.  They fought in the open-weight K-Grace tournament in 2007 and Modafferi won via decision, but that fight was two rounds of three minutes and was the third fight of the night for both.  Coenen had a full training camp and was preparing for a tussle with Erin Toughill, so she at least gets a chance to avenge one of her three losses.  Coenen is too good on the ground to get finished, and while Modafferi is extremely active, judges in the states are luke-warm at rewarding decisions without a show of stand-up.  Coenen by decision.

I agree on fedor pick. Agree on Mousasi winning either standing or on the ground. But, Bigfoot Siva's "intimidation game" being the difference??? Miller gets tapped out by Guillotine??? Gotta strongly disagree on those two. Maybe Shields wins, maybe, on points, maybe, but I do not see him subbing Mayhem. Verdum will sub Bigfoot, or TKO him, or win on points, height & jaw size may tip the balance of a fight in a frat hopuse, but Werdum has fought a ton of top level talent, win or lose(likely win) he's not going to be intimidated by Silva. And, if size/intimidation factor can win a fight, what about Sheilds? Miller we have 20 pounds over Shields on fight night and 20lbs is a lot of size difference at middleweight.
