Brock Lesnar seen at Vikings game on Oct 18th? Is he afraid of Carwin?

The LA Times is reporting today, via video that Brock Lesnar was seen at a Vikings game on October 18th.  He is busy blowing the giant ancient Vikings horn in the end-zone and hanging out with Mero, his wife and WWE superstar.

This really raises a question for the UFC.  What exactly is going on with Brock Lesnar?  Pat Barry, in an interview with the MMA examiner this week asked if Lesnar was scared to fight.  According to the LA Times Lesnar's camp will be releasing a statement soon but as of the time of publication it has not come.

Marco Macera, himself an acomplished Mixed Martial Arts professional and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt who trains at POWER MMA who watched the video said, "too sick to train is not too sick to watch a game and make an appearance.  Are you supposed to be a shut-in and not leave your house?  I will say that the horn blow he did for the Vikings did not seem to be that of a healthy man."

here is the link....Sal...as far as this being a dumb article...in the fight world...if someone decides to bow out of a title fight and risk a promotion's reputation its a big deal.

Fans are very fickle. If you follow my other posts about Strikeforce coming up on the UFC and the fact that Fedor and the Heavyweight division leave whoever the UFC has up at top in doubt...

The UFC has had to go put together several new fights, none of which is a title fight to save UFC 106. The heavyweight champ of the world will not have fought in over six months by the time he fights...that might be ok in Boxing but in MMA its not something that is acceptable.

the whole thing does actually matter.

I highly doubt Brock is afraid of someone as slow moving as Shane Carwin...give me a break...stay off the crack pipe

I have never read something so stupid in my entire life. You have any idea what it takes to prepare for a fight, MMA or Boxing. But somehow blowing a large horn and going to a game means you can get in the Octogon?

Always happy to receive insults about an article.

the fact of the matter is that this situation does matter to the sport. sick or not, all eyes now turn to Fedor and Strikeforce for the next week.
