As undefeated veterans of Tuff-N-Uff's amateur MMA shows, Chris Holdsworth and Gor Mnatsakanyan have established themselves as two of the promotion's most popular young stars and if past shows are any indication, the noise inside the Mardi Gras Ballroom at The Orleans should reach deafening levels when the two meet for Holdsworth's bantamweight title on Friday, February 26.
Mnatsakanyan's fans typically occupy an entire section, chanting his name and waving the Armenian flag, while Holdsworth, a Marc Laimon black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, will have the support of a very large--and vocal--contingent of Cobra Kai gym teammates.
A poll on the Tuff-N-Uff website currently shows 63% of those who responded picking Holdsworth to win, hardly a surprise considering the ease with which he's dispatched of all his past opponents. Still, the unorthodox Mnatsakanyan should be his toughest opponent to date.
Las Vegas MMA fans who still haven't made it to a Tuff-N-Uff show will not want to miss what should turn out to be one of the best fights of the year at any level. The show starts at 7:00PM and tickets are $25.00 and $50.00. For more information, visit http://www.tuffnuff.net.
