UFC® 104 results include the main card, played by two light heavyweights, Lyoto Machida vs. Mauricio Rua. Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida won in this heavily debated win over Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.
According to the judges’ scorecards, Marcus Rosales scored the fight 48/47 Machida (by winning Rounds 1, 2 and 3); Cecil Peoples scored the fight 48/47 Machida (by winning Rounds 1, 2 and 3); and Nelson “Doc” Hamilton scored the fight 48/47 Machida (by winning Rounds 2, 3 and 4). By the way, for those of you who are quick to judge the fight and the judges, please go read this POST by Eric Kamander of MMARatings.net. When you break down the fight as he's done, you might not be so quick to judge the outcome of this fight, and realize that perhaps the judges did do their job. After all, they were a lot closer to the action than we were.
