Strikeforce will return to the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on March 3 for the second straight year.
Strikeforce officials confirmed the long rumored event tonight.
Along with the event, Strikeforce officials also confirmed that Miesha Tate will defend her bantamweight title against undefeated Ronda Rousey on the March 3 card. More fights are expected to be announced very soon.
The March 3 event will run in conjunction with the Arnold Sports Festival. The Arnold Sports Festival is a yearly fitness expo that is held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
This will be the third time Strikeforce has hosted an event in the “Buckeye State” and the second in the state’s capital.
The last time Strikeforce was in Columbus, Dan Henderson defeated Rafael Cavalcante for the light heavyweight title and Marlos Coenen defended her title against Liz Carmouche.
