Chivas USA have added a third player to their roster having won the weighted lottery for Italian-American Savatore Zizzo. The 23-year-old winger missed the entirety of the last season with an ACL injury and managed just eight games in three years for Hannover 96 before being loaned out to Fortuna Düsseldorf where he never played.
Zizzo is better known for his appearance at the Under World Cup in Canada in 2007 where he represented USA as far as the quarter final. Team mates on that squad included Fredy Adu, Michael Bradley, Robbie Rogers, current Philly keeper Chris Seitz, Portland's Rodrigo Lopez, and Jozy Altidore.
He made one international appearance against Sweden in 2007.
He joins a Chivas side that struggled in the first half of the season but recently added Paulo Nagamura and Giancarlo Maldonado to that squad.
