The Pioneer League's Orem Owlz (Rookie) named Brett Crane their new assistant GM on Monday. Crane spent the last two seasons as the team's Director of Baseball Operations. Crane has spent nearly a decade in minor league baseball, including working in the clubhouse of the Salt Lake Bees (Triple-A).
"We are very pleased to have Brett in this position" said Owlz General Manager Aaron Wells. "He is someone who takes great pride in his work and has shown a tremendous amount of dedication."
