Hey fans get ready for a lot of premiers and all new seasons. The show Dexter starts the 26th. The NFL season starts the 9th. School has started already for almost every student, and hockey will be starting soon as well. So I thought I had better get in my predictions before the season started.
These are purely on the WCHA and the 28 league games played between the teams . I challenge you, the readers, to do the same on here.
1. Wisconsin 21-5-2
2. Minnesota Duluth 20-5-3
3. Minnesota 18-7-3
4. North Dakota 15-9-4
5. Bemidji State 12-9-7
6. Ohio State 11-11-6
7. St. Cloud St. 7-19-2
8. Mankato St. 3-24-1
The battle at the top will be fierce. North Dakota will work their way into the mix and aren't going away for years to come. Of course injuries always play a big part as do comebacks. Keep an eye on both of those factors throughout the season. I see the WCHA getting divided in two parts eventually, if not this season. It might be the haves and have nots for a while.
