Geithner hints at new middle-class tax

Geithner cheated on his taxes, can we?

How did you think we were going to pay for a $1 trillion health care plan?

After laughably telling George Stephanopoulos that the "key to economic recovery is deficit reductions", Treasury Secutary Tim Geithner would not rule out a middle-class tax hike.

To get the economy back on track, will President Barack Obama have to break his pledge not to raise taxes on 95 percent of Americans? In a “This Week” exclusive, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner told me, "We’re going to have to do what’s necessary.”

Not that a single person left in this country is surprised that Barack Obama is going to break his promise.  He's merely following in the footsteps of George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Why don't we start with that "deficit reduction" before raising taxes?  Just a thought.

Oh gee, I'm SO surprised he's going to raise taxes on the middle class to pay for the supposed "inherited" deficit (which has tripled in his first 6 months of office) and government sponsered "health care reform" (which, in the current version making rounds in congress will do nothing more than force every individual into a socialized health care system-whether you believe it or not).

    I'm so glad I voted for him...oh wait, thankfully I didn't!!!

What everyone has forgotten is that the Bush tax cuts expire next year anyway. Obama is going to give you the most expensive "free" health care ever.
