“This administration needs a lesson in the consent of the governed” – Congressman Mike Pence (IN)
As the recent polls indicate – these words ring true with the majority of Americans. Most people believe that President Obama and his administration are not listening to them regarding many issues, but especially, on the important health care debackle. On Tuesday, March 16, the grassroots organization, AFP – Americans for Prosperity, is sponsoring a "Honk Against the Health Care Takeover" National event. All citizens will be able to take part regardless of political ideology to “toot their horns” literally and voice their opinions regarding HR 3962, Affordable Health Care for America Act.
At Noon, on March 16, all citizens can take part by driving to their represented Congressional district offices or any office of a legislator who is “undecided” or is going to vote “yes” on HR 3962 and join a car caravan there, circling the representative’s office of choice while honking against the health care takeover. Interested parties can go to http://HonkNO.com to receive additional information and to let AFP know their status. After registering, a printable car sign “Honk Against the health Care Takeover” will be available. In addition, participants can sign up to be a car caravan leader and pick a parking lot near the chosen Congressman/woman’s office and let fellow “honkers’ know about the details of the plan. Many voices have been ignored so this might be an alternative way to be heard.
Here's the bottom line. The president is in the midst of his final all-out push for his health care takeover. Yes, his campaign is dishonest and over-the-top as the bill is, indeed, filled with pork, special deals, rationed care, unconstitutional mandates and does little to solve the real health care dilemma of insuring people with pre-existing illnesses, keeping costs down, cleaning up waste & fraud, maintaining quality care, etc…. Time is running out to block the passage of this odious 2700+ page bill that will place government in control of a larger percentage of our economy and, more importantly, control over our bodies and bank accounts!

The vast majority of people realize that the health care and insurance industries need reform, however, not in the guise of help created in the dark, backroom halls of injustice! People are not just concerned with the litigious content of the bill, but also, the malicious manner in which it has been propagated and forced.
K.I.S.S. – The “people” are speaking loud and clear and a final “honk” may just be the blow that sounds off the sleeping giant of Liberty and Freedom to wake up after a long historical snooze…

Funny, the real "special deals" that have been going on are by the insurance companies and Republican lawmakers. It is no surprise, when you consider the billions insurance companies can spend on scare tactics, that this topic has been bogged down for generations. We are the wealthiest country in the world and we can not get all our citizens health insurance? It is a sad day when it is easier for one president to convince the country to send Americans to die in a foreign land (for erroneous reasons), than it is for another to save lives on American soil!
