9/12 March on Washington D.C. supported by Glenn Beck , Dick Armey , and the Tea Party Movement goes to Capitol Hill . This looks like it will be fun for the whole conservative family unless some idiots show up . The movement seems to have cherry picked a few minority participants to make it not look like such a white thing , smart marketing , sprinkle in a couple blacks and spanish so main stream media will eat it up as legitimate . Looks like these guys read Dr Martin Luther Kings play book .
Tens of thousands of demonstrators are expected to descend upon the nation’s capital next weekend to voice their concerns about what they call Congress’ “nonstop tax-and-spend agenda” in the first-ever Taxpayer March on D.C. sponsored by a conservative grass-roots organization .
The three-day event will begin Thursday morning at the D.C. Armory in Southeast Washington and is expected to end Saturday with a march from Freedom Plaza down Pennsylvania Avenue to a rally on the U.S. Capitol steps. Participants can attend workshops and lobby their congressmen while attending rallies on health care and the economy.
The march on washington tea party is organized by Freedomworks , the same thug puppets that ruined the town hall meetings .
We will see how this turns out , Glenn Beck and a large crowd , who knows what might happen? , should be interesting . The largest tail gate party ever . I tell you , Barack Obama can sure draw a crowd. All of this fresh off of the Joe Wilson you lie deal , neve a dull moment .

I was looking at the demographics of Obama's poll results at Rasmussen's the other day. I was quite surprised to see the biggest percentage drop of support by race...was among blacks. Imagine that.
I will be attending the tea party and am entirely "sponsored" by myself. As a social worker with 25 years experience, I have seen first-hand what the policies of "hope and change" have done to our inner cities for the past 45 or so years, and are now doing to the middle class so they can join the government created "plantations". Save your smug commentary for ACORN; the rest of us have had enough of liberal corruption and stupidity.

I think it was inappropriate what Joe Wilson did in the middle of the speech but it wasn't inaccurate either. HR3200 does not exclude Illegal aliens. Obama's speech was full of platitudes and inaccuracies. I watched it and did my research. The Tea Party is about SMALLER GOVERNMENT and LOWER TAXES. It has bipartisan support and the police report in DC said it was 1.2 million. That's not a an isolated group.
These rallies are nothing but hate-filled ignorant racists, America is going backwards fast. Its a mark of shame that the GOP wont disavow this descent into hate and bigotry they are fomenting.
I think you misunderstand the movement. It isn't about republican or democrat - not even really about health care but that is part of it. It is about the people of this country demanding that government be accountable to them and that representatives uphold their oaths to protect and defend our constitution. It is about fiscal responsibility, and trying to keep this country out of the huge financial collapse that government is causing with out of countrol spending and printing up money to pay the bills.
You complain about Joe Wilson, and I also disagree with his Public Outburst, but check it out on factcheck.org - a site Obama was involved in starting - and you might understand his frustration. By the way, the papers the republicans waived around were 30 proposals that they submitted all spring and summer to address health care reform that the democrats refused to consider. Liberals (socialists) can't understand why so many Americans are angry about Obama's agenda, but they have good reasons to be angry. First of all, Obama has lied repeatedly. Let’s look at some of his lies:
1. He told us that our economy would grow by $1.52 for every $1 the govt spends. If you believe his logic, all we have to do is spend our way to prosperity.
2. He promised no tax increases of any kind on families that make less than $250k, but two weeks after his inauguration he raised cigarette taxes by 62 cents a pack on the nation’s 43 million smokers.
3. He said the unemployment rate would not exceed 8% if we pass his stimulus plan, but the unempoyment rate is now at 9.7% and is likely to increase.
Obama’s many lies have angered people.
Americans are also angry about the runaway spending. Do the math on the stimulus plan. The cost is $787 billion and there are 114 million taxpayers. The cost to each and every taxpayer is $6903 (excluding interest). Obama said the plan would create/save about 2 million jobs. $787 billion divided by 2 million jobs = $393,500 per job created/saved. Think about this for a moment. We’re going to spend nearly $400,000 for every job created/saved and leave each and every taxpayer with a bill of nearly $7000!!! I believe this is an enormous waste of taxpayer money. Obama wants us to believe that those evil wealthy people will be responsible for paying for the stimulus, but it’s not going to happen. As usual, the people who will be stuck with the bill are the middle class who have already been squeezed to the limit. The stimulus plan alone is likely to push the US into a long-term period of high inflation. The out-of-control spending by Obama and the Dems has angered people.
