What kind of example is Wikipedia setting for young women who might actually look up to the former Washington Redskins cheerleader Michaele Salahi. The state dinner crasher that met Barack Obama became infamous a few days ago for crashing the first State Dinner given by Michelle Obama and Barack Obama. Now the bone head editors at Wikipedia(I happen to be one) have set up a Wikipedia page for the wannabe reality star.

Editors for Wikipedia can vote on whether they agree with the decision, for the record I voted to delete the Wikipedia entry for Tareq Salahi and I have not made my opinion known for Michaele.Salahi.
To let you in on a few SEO secrets I'll tell you this, If you look at the bottom of her listing on Wikipedia you will see referrals, Michaele Salahi's page is riddled with referrals from the Washington Post. So you mean to tell me out of all of the writers that have done stories on the State Dinner crashers in the last week the washington Post some how gets 60% of the referral listings, smells fishy if you ask me. I will put my two cents in to delete the entry as soon as I get finished with this based on that alone, never mind the fact that crashing a White House State Dinner although brazen and nervy, it's no where near noteworthy to warrant a listing. Wikipedias becoming a joke controlled by Newsweek,Washington Post, and the like, if they do not recognize the contributions made to the internet by new media journalists that grind it out everyday on their keyboards pushing out content soon they will find it hard to keep the next generations attention. Last time I checked these guys were laying people off, Examiner.com is growing.
Wikipedia Score Board and Play by Play: So far the voting is about 55% for delete with approximately 45% of the editors wanting to merge Michaele and Tareq together. One Editor voted merge and said "merge with Tareq Salahi to form something like 2009 White House 'gatecrash' incident. One editor voted to delete and then bring her back when Washington Housewives starts. I do not think he has been watching the news, Washington housewives is in limbo right now. Real life power brokers in Washington will not go near it, you are better off going to Hooters and ordering some buffalo wings so you can forget about the show. I voted to delete the Michaele Salahi Wikipedia page and give her a paragraph under Secret Service. Anything else is editors wanting to drive traffic to their favorite news source. Arun Singh State Dinner crashers Michaele.Salahi Tareq Salahi
Update: Secret Service says they have found the problem. A Secret Service agent did not see name at first check point. Watch Video, this sounds weak. Secret Service investigated the couple today.
The couples lawyer states my clients were cleared by the White House. A Republican Congressman is calling for full investigation which I support. The Secret Service needs a dash of transparency on this issue, since this is not a top secret issue let the public know names of the officers involved.

bottle blonde.
For the record (and a bit of advice to would-be Wikipedia spammers), links from Wikipedia don't help a site's SEO position all that much... if at all. Wikipedia's software puts a "no follow" tag on all external links, effectively telling search engines not to follow the link, and not to count the linked site toward page rankings and the like.
Not that this excuses a page for a party crasher who apparently isn't even notable for being a Redskins cheerleader. The Washington Post reports that the Redskins have no record of Salahi ever having been a cheerleader.
Anyone who takes Wikipedia seriously is a fool.
