Barack Obama Speech To students
President Barack Obama is scheduled to give a speech to students on Tuesday September 8 , 2009 at noon . One problem , conservatives through out the United States do not want their children to hear it . The White House is calling the speech to students "a national address to the students of America." The department of Education is encouraging teachers to build a lesson plan around the speech .
All this did not sit well with Jim Greer, the chairman of the Florida Republican Party. Greer released a blistering statement earlier this week claiming that the president is trying to "indoctrinate America's children to his socialist agenda."
The White House has changed its plan for the speech to the students several times since conservative politicians began to voice their negative opinions of the speech . Conservative opposition have likened the speech to Obama's socialist agenda .
Now school boards and superintendents across the country are being pressured by right-wing groups to pull the plug on Barack Obama's speech.

Not a Socialist agenda. A Fascist agenda. He knows as well as Hitler and Chavez that you must get to the children because the parents are not a gullible.
It's absurd that anyone should object to the President of the United States telling children to work hard and stay in school. Why didn't they object when President Bush did so? Why didn't they object when President Clinton did so? I've never seen such vile hate mongering against a president of the United States before in my entire life. If nobody objected when previous Democratic Presidents and previous Republican presidents did the same thing, the only answer can be that the objectors are racist but are too dishonest with themselves to admit it.
Overwhelming YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS to KH. Guarded speech to the youth is warranted. I know he will address age appropriate issues that affect american society.
