Michelle Obama hosted event in the East Room of the White House in Washington during an event celebrating women in the military since second World War. Dr. Jill Biden, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General James Cartwright, members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and their wives, and other senior military and administration officials joined the First Lady.
Approximately 130 female veterans from the Second World War forward, current service women and wounded warriors were in attendance.
Earlier in the day Michelle Obama attended an event for the USDA's Healthier U.S. Schools Challenge held at Hollin Meadows Elementary School.

When the day comes where she served her country in battle I'll have respect for her, otherwise- she can go blow and toot her vacant horn, who cares.
I think women in the military deserve a lot more credit.
Its great that she honored these women for their service.
