Michelle Obama will meet with Queen Margrethe II of Denmark this week on her trip to Copenhagen to pitch the IOC on the Chicago Olympics 2016 bid. President Obama will meet the Queen of Denmark as well as Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen of Denmark.
The main focus will be the vote for the 2016 host city on Oct. 2. Chicago, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo are locked in a tight contest that could be decided by just a few votes. President Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero will represent Madrid.
Queen Margrethe II is an accomplished artist and clothes designer, sometimes making her own clothes. Like First lady Michelle Obama the Queen has a few "firsts" of her own to her credit, the first female Danish Sovereign. That's right, she runs the whole show.
Margrethe II is a chain smoker , I can't wait to see if Queen Margrethe II and President Barack Obama burn one , now that would be a first!!
