Michelle Obama took great pains to insure all went well at the recent White House State Dinner for Prime Minister of India Manomar Singh, only one slight hiccup that I was recently informed about from a good source, the State Dinner was crashed by Tareq and Michaele Salahi.
Before you jump to any conclusions let me inform you that a full investigation is currently being initiated by the Secret Service to find out how the couple was able to get into the invitation only event without an invite. The secret Service has confirmed that the couple was not invited.
Michaele Salahi has already starting to cash in on her social cache heist by pasting pictures of the social hijacking all over her Facebook page. She is a finalist for the Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of Washington and this might help her get the role.
Native American Heritage Day is November 27th
No word yet on whether trespassing charges will be filed by the White House. One question you would have to ask after looking at how easy it was for these two is, what's up with the Secret Service, are they becoming a little to relaxed? What if these guys were terrorists and they decided to grab one of those knives or forks at the State dinner and use it as a weapon on President Obama or one of the guests.
I love the transparency and open door policy but this needs some looking into. I hear Michaele Salahi was a Redskins cheerleader, those girls are popular, may be she is well known. Something is peculiar about this, I'm thinking somebody looked the other way or was told(there with me!) at the entrance and I doubt the Secret Service was being used to check to see every one had invitations.
The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, which oversees charitable operations in the commonwealth, issued a consumer warning earlier this year against the "Journey for a Cure Foundation," of which the Salahis are listed as co-founders, the Fauquier-Times Democrat reported. The state regulatory and watchdog agency reportedly claimed that the foundation was soliciting money from Virginians for "allegedly charitable purposes," but had failed to follow laws requiring groups soliciting money for charity to register and file necessary paperwork with the department.
Here is the kicker, for all their political connections and attempts to cash them in, the Salahis appear to be frugal when it comes to their campaign giving. The Federal Elections Commission, which tracks political contributions, shows they never contributed a dime to Obama, despite crashing his first state dinner, and only gave a one-time contribution of $1,000 to Rep. James Moran, D-Va., in 2006, and $600 to Sen. George Allen, R-Va., in 2000. Read State Dinner crashers: Crashgate Volume I
So it looks like these two charlatans are looking for political horses to throw a charity event but with the changing of the guards in Washington it looks like they are not in the loop.
If Tareq and Michaele cash in on Bravo good for them, I don't plan on watching, if they are prosecuted by Secret Service then it serves them right. If not for a reporter in the noticing that Michaele looked out of place then their plan would have worked.

What if the sleeves of her dress were laced with some time-released biological weapon?! What if everyone he shook hands with became contaminated with something?! How do people get past a Secret Service security checkpoint to gain access to an invitation-only State Dinner at the White House?!?!? Someone should be fired & the Salahis should be prosecuted if they were NOT invited!!!
How bizarre!
This REALLY bothered me when I saw it. Some heads need to roll. They should be arrested. Not sure what kind of charge. My God, they were close enough to touch the VP!
Security should definitely be ashamed
Who does this bish think she is pushing up on V.P. Biden?
It makes our country look weak when the SS cannot protect the White House from invasion. What foreign leader would feel safe with this type of security. Fire the incompentent lot and replace them with Muslims.
Wow! Pretty bold, especially to post all over FB.
Sounds like Michelle's social secretary was socializing instead of doing her job of checking the list as they have done in the past. Another example of change that isn't working.
I for one do not think they are going to be arrested, prosecuted,or charged in anyway.Nothing really happened to endanger the POTUS (No harm No foul) If they are, it will really show how incompetent the Secret Service AND/OR White house staff is in protecting the POTUS. The person or persons that allowed them through the checkpoint(s), should then be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for allowing them to pass through and released from their position, as their failure to do their job is far worse than the Salahis'passing throught and having a photoshoot. And, in a way, it shows the SS or White House Staff where they need to shore up their program. It clearly shows that the Salahi's were not there to cause any harm to the POTUS and their guests. END OF STORY!!
