Michelle Obama had a great year. She accomplished a lot of what she set out to do in the beginning of the year and stayed on pace despite a hectic schedule. Whether it was preparing for a State Dinner or hosting the White House music series she did it in style. She made a ton of fashion statements along the way and established herself as a fashion industry ambassador. From custom made dresses by Maria Pinto to fresh hairstyles from Johnny Wright, the First Lady was always ready to step out in style. She was nice enough to shine a little light on Calvin Klein, Naeem Khan, Isabel Toledo, Jason Wu, and Michael Kors in Hollywood like fashion which is rare for a First Lady.
The fashion industry was very grateful. Michelle Obama was crowned in June by the fashion industry. The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) honored her with a Board of Directors tribute. Also honored that night were Rodarte, Narciso Rodriguez, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler's, Louis Vuitton, and Ralph Lauren.

Sorry, didn't see TOP anything, much less top 10, unless, of course, you count all those "cardigans" she wore as TOPS!
