Michelle Obama's new friend is Japan's new First lady Miyuki Hatoyama

Miyuki Hatoyama and Yukio Hatoyama

Michelle Obama is a popular First lady to say the least , her popularity is measured on a global scale which is significant in itself . My Michelle Obama Twitter account is made up of mostly Asian followers and the same goes for my Facebook account in which I currently have over 2500 friends . It comes as no surprise to me then that one of Michelle Obama's biggest fans is half a world  away in Japan , soon to be Japanese First lady Miyuki Hatoyama recently stated , "I think she is so natural and has a kind of sensibility similar to mine. If I can have the chance to meet her, I would look forward to it ."

Barack Obama is no slouch either when it comes to world wide popularity , if you look at Facebook profiles of teenagers from Indonesia you will probably find  more than half of them have a sign of their love for Barack and Michelle Obama on their profile page .

The sooner Michelle and President Barack Obama get away from  domestic issues like the health care debate the better , part of their strength lies in foreign diplomacy and the fanatic like  following they have in the far east . Barack should move the health care debate along as quick as possible to prevent Republicans from eating into his popularity numbers anymore than they already have .

Miyuki Hatoyama's husband Yukio Hatoyama, whose party won a resounding victory in Sunday's parliamentary elections, and Obama spoke by telephone for about 12 minutes today , Hatoyama's Democratic Party of Japan said on its Web site. The White House confirmed the call took place, but did not immediately release details.

"The Japan-U.S. alliance is the foundation," Hatoyama said he told Obama during the conversation, adding he "wants to build constructive, forward-looking Japan-U.S. relations."

Miyuki Hatoyama  and husband Yukio Hatoyama met in the U.S. , Yukio attended Stanford .

The Hatoyamas make for an interesting couple-in-chief: he's nicknamed "The Alien" because of his unruly head of hair, frozen appearance, and large eyes.

BS Zone: Why don't you go back to your freeper cave where you can take off your tin foil hat and relax.

First lady Michelle Obama has class and is intelligent and that frightens a wizened little gnome like you, doesn't it, because in your shrinking little universe of paranoid wing nuts, women who are more intelligent than men are just scary.

Miyuki Hatoyama is extremely interesting. I here she was born in Shanghai, China during the Japanese occupation (early to mid 1940s). Didn't you write a story about Michelle and Obama dining on Wagyu beef ? Well, didn't Miyuki grow up in Kobe? Appreciate some confirmations of these questions.
    Thanks,
