Michelle Obama suited up in a draw dropping dress from the Calvin Klein collection by Francisco Costa at the Nobel Peace Prize ceremonies. The sulfite laser cut velvet dress and sulfite laser cut velvet jacket worn by the First Lady is the first time she has decided to go with a Calvin Klein designed dress.
Rumor is that Francisco Costa had a chat with the First Lady at the American Ballet theatre's spring gala where the designer openly discussed Michelle Obama's keen sense of fashion. Costa won the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards fashion design category earlier this year and was honored by First Lady Michelle Obama.
The designer is a favorite of Penelope Cruz, Eva Mendes, Tina Fey, Natalia Vodianova, and Kate Beckinsale. Costa took classes at the Fashion institute of Technology.
Michelle Obama is well known for giving an instant boost to designers after she wears their designs. This will be no exception. The same is observed when Oprah Winfrey recommends a book. American jazz singer and player Esperanza Spading should be a house hold name soon after her performance at the Nobel Peace awards.

Nice photos!
Does Michelle Obama really think she is royalty or does she just dress that way by accident?
I like that Michelle is developing her own style and not following in the past first ladies footsteps by being so conservative.
I like what Michelle is doing with her clothing :)
Our First Lady definitely has a wonderful sense of fashion.
Michelle Obama looks great in everything.
These comments are hysterical. Damn I never heard such pathetic phony arse kissers.
Hideous is the word that first comes to mind ... everyone is entitled to their opinion and many are not impressed.
Got something to say?
