Connection to the Other Side
Millions of families all over the world are affected by Autism. Although some great research has produced progress in understanding this condition, science still does not know exactly what creates this life for some children and not others. In this article, I would like to present a Metaphysical take on Autism. I know this will seem a little "out there" to some people, but let's give it a try. If you accept the premise that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, then we can take this alternative slant. From what I have read, there is a possibility that children with Autism have simply not completely anchored their consciousness solidly on this side of the veil. If we go a step further and accept the premise that we all choose our initial life condition before birth into the physical world, then the condition of Autism becomes a "choice" rather than a "condition". This is a huge statement. Now just because we have chosen a birth condition before we come, does not mean we have to stay in that condition. This is where free will comes into play. Each child is unique of course, so the reasons for making this initial choice could be infinite. To lend a little support to this theory, I know of a few psychics or "mediums" that have the ability to communicate clearly with these children. How do they do it? They all say the connection is to the child's spirit, or soul.
So if all of this is true, where does that leave us on the question of a cure? How do we coax the child's consciousness to anchor more firmly in the physical world? I will not pretend to have the answer. However, there is a lot of research taking place in this area and there has been some good results. One, that I know of, is this group: The Energetic Matrix . They offer a treatment program that is free to families with children that have Autism. It's worth exploring.
I understand this theory will be difficult to digest for some people. However, there is a growing amount of scientific evidence in the world of Quantum Physics that supports this spiritual connection for all of us. I understand perfectly and I admire your spunk in posting this. There is an alternate belief in some parts of the metaphysical community that "interfering" with this choice can go against the highest good for the entity's spiritual evolution....based on the same premise that there is an "initial soul choice" that you referenced in your article. Great article! As one of your psychic connections that talk with the families and children...I believe that it is important for all of us to work on ourselves so that the person with Autism feels safe to come and play with us here on Earth. That way they can make the choice from a place of joy and love. Instead of trying to 'fix' them. They are fine..we are the ones who think otherwise.

Gregg Braden is on the cutting edge of science as it brings to light what has been referred to as the 'Metaphsical.' Quantum physics holds the key to understanding the science of the spiritual realm. I recommend an excellent book by Philip Gardiner called "Gateways to the Otherworld" as a great read for anyone interested in the connection of the physical with the spiritual world, and HOW some are able to communicate with it.
Your article about Autism and the Metaphysical world is fascinating to me. We are living in an era of a dramatic rise in autism, ADD, ADHD and the like, while we frantically try to cure it -- rather than see how it is trying to cure us! If only, in our arrogance, we did not regard this condition as a 'disease'... we would be able to study it in a way that enables us to break down the barriers we have constructed (out of fear) that keep us separated from the other side, and, ultimately from incredible journeys in time, space, and knowledge.
I have a 17 year old son who is on the autistic spectrum and have found that he responds quite well to reiki and thetahealing. Whenever I facilitate a healing (a healing not a curing), it's done with the intent that it be in his highest and greatest good. This allows for his free will and keeps me completely out of the picture. Oftentimes, my son will ask for a session as it helps him relax into our world. That's the problem for most autistic people. They have a difficult time communicating and understanding the typical human world. I also believe that in most cases, they are more highly spiritually evolved than the rest of us. This is, in my opinion, much of what frustrates them. I can also tell you that while my son is verbal, he struggles to speak. When I communicate with him psychically (for lack of a better word), he thoughts are clear and concise.

I do accept the premise that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. I believe in many of the unseen spiritual and metaphysical topics. I'm the father to an 11 y.o. on the spectrum diagnosed specifically with PDD-NOS.
I've considered the Star Child theory and have given thought to your ideas noted-above. I don't agree. In my opinion, Autism is a severe developmental problem with the brain likely brought-on by a combination of environmental and genetic factors.
Rather than the Metaphysical possibility, I'd sooner give more credibility to the idea that children/adults on the Autism Spectrum are alien abductees who have been tinkered with in an effort to advance our species. The only reason that I note this is that my wife, two sons and I are all lifetime abductees with multiple conscious memories of "some" of our experiences. My wife is a corp attorney and I'm a corp restructuring professional. Both of our sons have shown physical and other signs of abduction. While our 11 y.o. has Autism our 9 y.o. is straight A's in a gifted student program.
Regardless of who's right and who's wrong, I think we can all agree that we'd like to see some real answers concerning the Autism problem.
