Hal Portner is an internationally acclaimed expert on coaching and mentoring. He trains coaches and mentors, consults with school districts and synthesizes research in order to present best practices. While a member of the Connecticut State Department of Education for 10 years, he was involved in the development of the state's new-teacher mentoring initiative.
