The time has come to start thinking about a different direction for eyewear. Nothing drastic, mind you - think evolution not revolution. Rectangles and retro have pretty much run their respective courses.

Glasses should compliment the face, not challenge it. It would be nice to see some softer shapes and frame colors more appropriate to skin tone, hair and eye color. This is by no means a mandate. It is merely a suggestion for less harshness and more harmony.

Ultimately, this is a personal choice. That is why it is important to not succumb to a particular trend just because it exists. If you consider your glasses to be an extension of your personality and make your purchase thusly, you'll be more comfortable in them and they'll accentuate your already beautiful mug.
