Once again plaid survives another season. For Spring 2010, this perennial favorite, this foundation of many men's wardrobes has been mildly tweaked, softened and lightened to cement itself as the go-to for button-front shirts. This should come as no surprise. Plaid is versatile - easily going from casual, to work, to a night out on the town.
I will present to you a series of articles to help you prepare for what is sure to be one of the most plaid-clad Springs in a long time. We will explore a sampling of the plaid spectrum from the basic and inexpensive all the way to the high end in order for you to make the plaid choice that is right for you. Today, we start at the high end with an offering from Steven Alan
The Steven Alan label is no stranger to plaid and flannel. They been concentrating on it for years now. As each season comes and goes Steven Alan puts his own spin on this pattern that refuses to die.
You can find Steven Alan clothing at Barneys - 77 O'Farrell Street in downtown San Francisco and if you are lucky you might be able to find his stuff at Nida - 544 Hayes Street in the Hayes Valley neighborhood.
