A couple weeks ago you were introduced to PACT undergarments right here in this column. In that article you were treated to such tasty tidbits of information such as what their underwear is made from (95% Turkish organic cotton and 5% elastane) and why. You also may have learned that the people at PACT are dedicated to positive change in our world. The most important stuff in that article, though, at least as far as this column is concerned, is the underwear.
It's always interesting to discover the little changes, improvements and nice touches being implemented in the fairly limited segment known as menswear. PACT has done a good job of making a widely used but rarely considered garment something special. Their little changes, improvements and nice touches aren't immediately apparent until compared to your average pair of tighty-whities or boxer briefs.
PACT uses a fine yarn that in turn makes a surprisingly dense cloth. That fabric is super-soft to the touch and very supple. The 5% elastane content is almost imperceptible until you're wearing the garment. Only then do you get to experience the near perfect balance of stretch, comfort and support.
Since getting these boxer briefs, they've been worn, and washed to the manufacturer's specification, a half dozen times. Each wear and wash cycle returned a garment that held its shape and showed no signs of loose threads. At no time was any waistband roll or riding-up experienced which is always very nice. The mix of good company and good product makes this particular PACT product a great value for the cost.
