First editions. Limited editions. Numbered editions. Sounds like collectibles or something you might buy at a gallery not T-shirts, hoodies and shorts. That is how John Earle, the man behind Johnny Cupcakes, is running the show and so far his business is a wild success.

From class clown, to college dropout to entrepreneur, John and his cupcakes have come a long way in a relatively short time.
* In 2001 he was selling his shirts out of the back of his '89 Camry.
* In 2002 he opened his first web-based store and ran the business out his parent's home.
* By 2005, John, with the help of his father, opened the first Johnny Cupcakes shop in a refurbished boat garage to be followed a year later with a high-end bakery themed shop on Boston's fabulous Newbury Street.
* Last year, the plans for a store on Melrose in L.A. came to fruition.

His designs are fun, interesting and cute and since you can't buy them just anywhere getting your hands on one of his products means you're likely to be the first kid on the block to have something of his. The Johnny and his Cupcakes deserve your attention.
