The Hip Hop DanceFest is an exhibition of dance artistry and talent from around the global. The event features some the of the best Hip Hop dance troops from as far as South Korea and Norway as well as local talent from San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles. The event will be held at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco November 20th and 21st.
According to the Hip Hop DanceFest web site the event was “Established in 1999, by Founder and Artistic Director Micaya, The SF Hip Hop DanceFest has grown to be THE event that has put San Francisco on the map for presenting hip hop dance . Acknowledged as the FIRST festival dedicated specifically to honoring the artistry of hip hop dance, the DanceFest is a groundbreaking event, hosting companies from all over the globe.”
The event offers two programs “A” and “B” with “A” being held on Friday, November 20 at 8pm and Sunday, November 22 at 2pm and features the following dance troops:
