Tareq and Michaele Salahi, who were allegedly not invited to the White House State Dinner, answered questions from Matt Lauer on the "Today Show" about whether they were actually invited guest.
The Salahi’s, who were also auditioning for a reality show at the time of the incident, seem pretty confident that they would vindicated and mentioned during the interview, when the investigation is over, that they were going to travel New York and show Lauer documentation proving that they were invited guest.
The Salahi’s did not provide detail about the incident and deferred to mostly to the fact that they were cooperating with the Secret Service on their investigation.
Questions have also been raised about whether they were officially invited to the another event in which they were ask to leave by the staff.
